Support how much ram do you have free?

    im runnin around 270mb or so free most of the time. is this good? how much ram does everyone normally have free?

    i use advanced task killer. im sure there is other ways of seeing it also.

    Having more or less free ram doesn't speed up or slow down your phone. Unless the app that is running is using CPU.
    I hope you aren't using a Task Killer on Froyo as it doesn't benefit Froyo, just reopens all the apps you already have. Froyo has it's on task mangement software.

    well ive always been under the impression that the more ram your using the slower your device will be cus the more running programs you have. im (very) new to the android community and am trying to get a feel for my device. as for the task killer goes i dont like the built in one but as you said it does seem like advanced task killer reopens y programs. is there a better app like that for froyo that will benifit my device? again im fairly new and recently rooted. still learning everything about android.

    There isn't for android, There was a video from Google I saw explaining the froyo task killer, and how it is designed... Let me see if I can find it.
