I was #4, the first 3 people in line at my VZW were close to 70.
I thought that was pretty cool, I asked and the phones were for them.

I didn't have to wait in line, since I had an appointment. Those in the store (before opening) with me ranged from a kid (18 or so) who had to call his dad to get permission for them to upgrade his line, to a few in their 40's. I would guess the two men waiting in line outside were in the early 40's.

I was number 68 last night at the Verizon in Columbia, Md. There were well over 120 phone purchases last night to buy at the midnight opening. I'm quessing the ages ranged from 18 to about 55. I felt bad as 31-yr old man waiting for a phone, but I got over once I got my hands on her for the Second time (I wish I would have never sold the first one).

Out of a line of about 30+, the age range was around 20-45s.

I'm 43 and thought the same until I met the 3 older people in the front of the line.

The one lady , I would guess her to be about 68 had no idea what she was getting into though.

There were all different ages at mine, I saw some Mom and dads there with 10 year old kids, some that were in the 50-60s, also 20-30s. Had quite a few people there.

At my midnight release..I'd say everywhere from 12 to 60ish? (counting the familes). There was a significant percentage somewhere in the 18-26 range, but it was fairly evenly spread out in general.

Ever think that maybe the larger screen would be easier for them to read? ;) I bet my mom would love it, but no way she would pay $200 for a phone! She only upgrades to the free phones.
