Root How Root Acer Iconia a100 on a Mac?

I just bought an Acer Iconia a100 and I'm really liking it so far. It is updated to 4.0.3. However, I would like to root it but I have a Mac. It seems that Acer created a USB driver for Windows and not for Mac. I tried this method: Full root for A10x and A5xx ICS. Simple method. - xda-developers, but the tablet does not show up on my desktop and can not finish the root process. Does anybody know how to root the tablet with a Mac? Or maybe has a different method of rooting the tablet? Please help me.

P.S. My Macbook Pro is running OS 10.8

I think on XDA if you look under the easy root method I remember seeing someone's saying they made a script for the mac. It was a little way back in the thread but you can search on there. Maybe you'll see some tips to help you out.
