On my Droid RAZR, I want to see all the pictures in only one directory, using the swipe gesture to go to the next picture.

Using My Gallery; My library, it shows all *.jpg files on my phone. I can't choose a specific directory. I can switch pictures with a swipe, but I want just the pictures in one directory.

Using My Files, I can go to a directory in my SD card & choose a picture for viewing, but I can't swipe to go to the next picture. I have to go back to the directory listing & choose the next pic.

How can I do this? Thanks.

Yea quickpic is great, but it will section everything off. I have an individual folder for every camera app, any folder I make on my SD card that may have a picture on it, downloads, etc.

I have a dozen folders in there when I open it up....which by the way I like, because when I want to shuffle through pictures, I don't need to have a dozen pictures of the folder I made for pictures of serial numbers or what not.

Long press on the folder you don't want to see when you are inside quick pick and hit exclude.

Or, go to the folder using a file explorer and create a file named .nomedia in the root of the folder and it will exclude all the pics that are in directories below where the file is located, No matter what galley app you're using.

Thanks for the long press info. Now that I've excluded some folders, how do I get them back? Also, what's the difference between "hide" & "exclude".

I can use "My Files" to view my dirs. How do I create a file in the dir (for .nomedia)? For my existing, files, I've always copied them from my computer. Thanks.

Under settings go to browse and select excluded folders, there you can delete which ones you want from the list.

And to create the no media file you need to use a file explore app, the my files app won't let you create files or folders I believe. I recommend es file explorer, easily the best, and free file explorer.

In that app, hit menu, then the new button(plus icon) and select file then name it. There doesn't have to be anything inside it just name it .nomedia

Thanks for the info on how to un-exclude a folder.

Also info about ES File Explorer. I can now create files on my phone. Never knew how to do that before. Much appreciated.
