How to add a website link to my screen that launches a page in Chrome?

How can I add a website link to a screen on my Galaxy Note 2 that launches a specific webpage in Chrome? (or another browser is fine too)

Specifically I want a link that goes directly to images.google.com.

purpose: Am going to travel across the pond. Searching images for a menu item I can't translate might be the fastest way to decipher a menu

Depends on the app you're doing it in, but in an HTML-aware app

<a href="images.google.com">Google Images</a>

will give you the text Google Images in blue, clickable (or, I guess I should say "pressable") to launch the default browser (or the one you're in) to images.google.com.

Bookmark the page you want. Then you should have a bookmark widget you can add to your home screen.

Hi, in Chrome or Dolphin bookmark the page then go to bookmarks and long press the bookmark. An option pop up menu appears with 'add shortcut to home' (or similar, depending on the browser), as one of the options. Tap that and you will have the shortcut on your home screen.

(My HTC stock browser has the same option).

oh my gosh

i just installed Go Launcher EX after Searching the Google Play.

Now all my custom app groupings are gone and I see an interface that seems right for a 13 yr old...

How can I get my previous custom app groupings back?

If you don't want Go Launcher EX any longer, you can uninstall it and your previous home screens should be available. If you want to keep Go Launcher EX for whatever reason, go into Settings, Apps and clear the default for Go Launcher EX. Then press the home button and you should see the option to use Go Launcher EX or your original home launcher.

You will have to uninstall Go Launcher EX if you want to get those back and go to TouchWiz.

Otherwise I know Nova Launcher allows you to create new tabs for apps if you want those groupings.
