One of Android's best features is being able to add handy little widgets to your home screen and the Honor 5X is no different. Just about every app you install on your device will also have a widget you can place on your home screen -- you just gotta know where to find them.

Now, every launcher is different but for those using the stock "Huawei Home" launcher that came out-of-the-box, here's how you can add widgets to your home screen.

1. Pinch with 2-fingers on the home screen
2. Select Widgets
3. Tap on widget to add, or drag and drop to home screen

Widgets are sorted alphabetically according to app they belong and show their display size (for example 4x1 or whatever). Sometimes a widget will have a number inside of parenthesis like "(4)," denoting more versions of that widget can be found inside by tapping on it.

Once you've placed a widget on your home screen, some of them can be resized by long pressing on them, then dropping in the same place. A highlighted box with dots will appears around the widget, allowing you to drag the dots and stretch or shrink the size of the widget (pictured above).
