Hey forum, so I just purchased the extended battery online, and I am wondering how to calibrate it. I have the DROID 3(duh) non rooted.

I guess the best way would just be to let it charge uninterrupted until it hits 100%, let it discharge until it shuts itself off, and then charge it all the way up to 100% again. Ultimately, I think the phone eventually gets a good picture of how much battery is available after a week or so regardless of what you do, but I think you may squeeze out a little extra by doing it this way. This is just how I do it. There doesn't seem to be a definitive answer on the internet. There is an app called Battery Calibration that will wipe your previous battery stats, but you have to be rooted to use it.
