How To change Background into Solid Color

Is it possible to change Wallpaper Background Image into SOLID COLOR only? I want change into totally black.

Sure, just make a picture of the colour of your choice, then pick it as the wallpaper with

Menu->Background->Pictures.

I think there are some options where we can choose any color..

Yep, that's exactly what I did on my Sprint HTC Hero. I made a 640x480 .png file filled with a single color 'black', and added a small grey strip on the top (about 25pixels) which enhances the notification bar at the top and matches the standard Sense UI grey at the bottom.
