Support How To change Background into Solid Color

    Is it possible to change Wallpaper Background Image into SOLID COLOR only? I want change into totally black.

    take a pic with your finger over the lens and set as wallpaper. :)

    Good idea! But doesn't work. You will get a solid RED instead of solid black. Using a Simplified Chinese finger to test.

    not sure what a 'simplified chinese finger' is, but if you get red from your finger then use the back of your arm, your thigh, your chest, your partner(!) or indeed, the covers on your bed

    You could also try googling solid black, and dload a pic, then setting it as wallpaper

    solid black doesn't look good on my HTC Wildfire, gray looks good :D

    I'm guessing the point of this is a black background on an AMOLED will save lots of power whilst on the homescreen as it switches off the pixels.

    It won't save lots of power! AMOLED is already energy efficient, it's one of the big pluses about it. I've used Live wallpaper and hardly seen a dent in my battery use.

    If you want to save lots of battery, turn off Mobile Data and only use it when you need to. THAT will save you buckets of battery :)
