Im curently running cyanogen/tazz v6 first I have heard people talking about upgrading from RC1 to RC2 where can I download RC2. If I can't no biggie but my main question is, is there a way to change the color of the batery life indicator in the status bar. Thanks in advance for any responses.

Yes, if you read the forum where you downloaded Tazz, he actually posts 4-5 Metamorph skins for the system. Each one has its own Battery Status indicator variation.
Download Metamorph, then start looking for Froyo compatible skins. Apply only the pieces that you want.
