    Hi all,

I am not rooted and S-ON on my HTC one M8 but have the Google Play Experience stock Marshmallow ROM. (not that I think any of that matters, we're just talking a phone with stock Marshmallow on here)

The pictures taken by the camera are being dumped in internal storage as opposed to the SD card, any ideas how I can change this please?

I'm not sure about Marshmallow, but on my Note 3 Lollipop, I open the camera app, tap the gear in the upper right corner, tap the gear tab on the settings menu, scroll down and tap the Storage option and select Memory Card.

see all I have when I tap the gear is "Resolution & Quality, Save Location (toggle yes/no), Advanced, Help and Feedback.
the advanced menu only has "manual exposure toggle on/off" and the resolution & quality only has megapixels etc.

Maybe consider a 3rd party camera app. I think Camera MX might have the option to save to sd card?
Been a long time since I used it.

    Try this,
Open camera app>>>settings in upper left(The gear)>>>tap on it and select phone or memory card.
    Hope this works for you.

thanks for the replies, but none of these solutions work! It beggars belief that Marshmallow wouldn't have such a basic option like this included. A Better Camera can do it, but it's annoying with ads everywhere
