THIS IS NOT ABOUT THE GMAIL APP. I Know the GMAIL app works fine, and you can customize the Notification.

Just upgraded from my OG Droid. So this is my first HTC device. For the life of me I cannot figure how to change the NOTIFICATION setting in the stock email app. I use this for my Work (Exchange) email.

Not sure if all HTC devices are like this, but its almost like they have the Notifications on lock down. And I tried changing the default Notification (under settings/sound) but when I get a new email (through Exchange) it plays the original Notification.

So whats the scoop, how do we get control of the Notifications?

Press the Personalize button from the home screen (paint brush and canvas), go down to Personalize sound->Notification sound, then change which one you looking for.

FREAKING AWESOME. Saw the Sound Sets there, but never bothered to hit the NOTIFICATION option. Thanks a ton.
