how to create multiple folders

    I was womdering how do i create different folders for things such as ringtones, notification tones.. etc. i searched the threads but didnt find a specific answer. thanks guys and gals, if it werent for you i would be lost!!

    Where Diamond Head Stay
    Mount your SD card by plugging in your Droid to your usb port. Pull down the notification "curtain" and select Mount USB or whatever. When your OS asks you if you want to open a file viewer window, select yes.

    Make new folders as follows on your memory card:

    Media (in root)

    Ringtones (in Media)
    Notifications (in Media)
    Videos ( in Media)
    Alarms (in Media)

    Music (in root)
    Pictures (in root, if not already there)

    huh, I have my ringtones and Notifications folder in the root of the SD Card with no ill effects other than it has more clutter..... Into a media folder they go!!!!

    is there a step by step process possibly? i do appreciate all the feedback i get from this site
