Question How to cure Battery draining and lagging problem

I have lyf water 7 ls-5504 mobile it's been rooted through super user to use link2sd and link apps. But before rooting it's have huge proble of draining battery it's battery drains 25% within if screen off to 10-15min from 100% to 75% very fast. One day it got battery calibration problem to it showed 0% and still it was working... Then I went to sevice center and they formatted and installed th android 5.11 stock rom again they electrically tested said battery is okay but software problem or may be software draining it.

As I googled and founded that some softwares setting consumes battery and to find them and kill or.force.stop.them and to cha he settings... Which switch off did ie. Developer option> windows animation scale / transaction animation scale/ animator duration scale

developer option drawing option

This option and GPU rendering I turned off and Bluetooth WiFi off and background process limit to 2 in setting developer options which reduced the battery draing in off screen but still while using its
draining to fast in compared to same company other model with same 3000mh battery.

So after rooting I installed greenify and accu battery to solve the battery charging or draining problem still it's same.

I tried to hybernate through greenify app one or two apps which are silently memory resident but I can't restrict system (google.play services) so I screenshot the developer option process stats to refer you apps running in memory

Following is screenshot of battery apps usage of android 5.1.1 native

From below screenshots of accubattery app photo I have given to give reference how much mh or percentage battery is consumed in charging and discharging . If any expert can find the reson. Or app of its draining battery fastly and second phone hangs lags and respond to late and stuck in browsing many times and many time I have to close all running apps and restart them again. Is it due to rooting or.permissoon apps or link2sd apps or due to accubattery or greenify. As link2sd accubattery or greenify is no where in process stats ... I had not linked or moved system apps or random used apps to external sd card..

Now if u can help or advice.me how to redicate or troubleshoot or find the app which is draining the battery or hanging or lagging . The phone....any more reports or details required for your refrence I can send screenshot ...any opinion advice to solve help will be welcomed

Your device is very old.
Any battery you get for it is very likely as old or close to it.

Your device is so old that it is much less efficient than newer devices.

You are using Chrome and Google Play Services, which are both battery hogs a d resource draining junk apps that run in the background constantly.

A device that old should be able to disable all Google apps and have room for suitable replacements that are more efficient.

Personally, especially on an Android 5, I would disable every single Google app of every kind.

You do not need Google Play Services to update apps.
ApkPure will be ok, as long as you have the app, and an even better choice is Uptodown.

F-Droid is excellent as well.
With those three, you will not miss Google at all.

Also, I would replace all stock utility apps with Simple Mobile Tools.

All social media should be accessed with a browser, not individual apps.

Greenify is excellent, especially if you have the paid version that allows control of system apps.
It is even more capable on a rooted device.

Here are links to apps that I would use on any device, not just the ones in question.

Always get apps from F-Droid if you can.
I use F-Droid first, then Uptodown, and then ApkPure.

Use NewPipe to access Youtube.

All the rest of Google apps can be accessed with your browser.

FYI there's many third-party apps and games that require the Google Play Services framwork to be present in memory, i.e. persistant, otherwise they can't function properly. You disable or remove this framework, and those apps will very likely error or crash. It's pretty much essential for many apps and games.

Some China version phones and tablets don't have the Play Services framework in them, and that does cause show-stopping problems for apps and games that use it, And they'll show error messages along the lines of "This app can't run because the required service is missing from your device.", and AF has had several posts about this, with apps and games that won't run on those devices.

@mikedt bro yes ur right that what i was saying to puppykickr that Google play services disabled disabled many apps dependent on it....As he suggested to disable all Google apps to...Actually Google play service taking huge space of data cache 350mb to 600mband keep on multiplying and it to use drain ram and battery to much... So I felt it's food advice to disable Google app as mybold Ltd water 7 Android 5.1 lollipop mobile is draining battery to fast and handling lagging slowing down crashing so I thought it's better to use alternative apps then Google apps ...But the calling failed and SMS messaging apps to not working after disabling googl play devices and Google drive which is co Cern as we will not able to call or SMS without them.

@mikedt bro there must be some third party apps for caller dialer and SMS messaging which don't require Google play services framework ....Can u suggest any dialer contacts and SMS Messaging app for Android 5.1 which I can. Install and give a try...And can work as alternative for Google

Use the F-Droid links for the above apps.
These are what I use instead of the built in system apps, because the built in apps won't function without Google.

None will sync with Google, so they must be set up manually.

As for the Google Services that are still running, there must be Google Services Framework still in there somewhere or another Google app that is designed to keep or search for Google Play Services- to keep it active.

This is exactly how Google uses up your battery.
Not only is it running, but there are multiple other apps that are checking and making sure that it is running.

It is an insidious circle.

My guess is that you will need to remove the Google Account from the device entirely.

Then go into:

Settings
Security
Device Administrators

and turn off anything Google related (Find My Phone, etc.)

Come to think of it, try revoking the Device Administer permissions of anything Google related before removing the account.

These actions combined should stop any residual aggrevation from Google crap on the device.

Google Drive, G-Mail, and anything else Google related must be accessed with a browser, because there is no longer a constant link to Google via a Google account on the device.

The last Android 5.1 device I had was five years ago, an Oppo Find7. So have no real ideas about it these days. Except to say that devs very likely no longer support it, and it's probably only going to run older versions of apps, that's it.
