I have a photon Q that i bought off of amazon a few months ago. at first i had activated it through net10 and couldn't get it to have both 3g and messaging, so i switched it over to prepayd wireless and like a week later they were shut down out of nowhere. pretty much the phone has been activated ever since. up until a couple weeks ago it was still able to make/recieve calls but now it doesnt. I figured it was finally deactivated and I tried yesterday to activate it through ting and it says its still active. I called sprint to have them help me deactivate it and they said the phone number is not in their system and theres nothing they can do to help me except give me credit towards a different phone if i give them the photon..

what happened to my phone? how do i deactivate it? I got the best keyboard phone on the market and it's been nothing but a huge disappointment. I really want it to work

Did you also try calling Ting to see if they can get the phone activated for you? I don't know if they have the ability to deactivate it, but they might since Prepayd went out of business.

    Worth a try :)
