Welcome to the thread today i spent countless hours testing and stress testing my phone that gets hot and goes above 50°C above even worse when playing games so i found the best solution to decrease your devices Tempature no matter what task your doing below 40°C.

Most android devices are ran by a Qualcomm CPU witch gets pretty hot even in normal usage so this method does require money to get the items you need to perform this solution.

So here is what you need to get started:

• Thermal Paste (usally sells around $12 USD but you can get it on ebay for less or exactly $5.00 USD

• A Small Flat Head Screw diver or a Tool to pry apart the phones casing apart to snap of the clips

• a screw driver to unscrew the casing

• a bowl to put screws in so you dont lose them

• and your hands

Now be sure that the device you attempting to open is NOT Under Warranty Protection because they can detect if the device was opened, to open a specific device your attempting to apply Thermal paste on be sure to check http://www.ifixit.com/ to find a guide on how to disassemble your device without damaging anything because we arent going to specify a "how to" guide on how to open your device safely and properly.

Now once you opened the device you desire to apply thermal paste on, sometimes devices have a sheilding that is removable this protects certain parts from being damaged but it looks like a casing that can be lifted, on some devices you cannot lift the top cover and requires you to rip off the sheilding from the motherboard completly to get access to the CPU/GPU, be aware doing that can and will damage the board but wont stop the device from working properly but as a further disclaimer we are NOT responsible for any damage you do to your device.

Once the covers or if their is a cover is off place a dab of thermel paste on the cpu and gpu and spread it carefully and evenly, you will know they are the cpu and gpu because their the only biggest chips on the motherboard.

When done place everything back and reassemble your device and power the device on.

You will notice a difference in speeds but use a cpu tempature app from the Google Play Store to see if your tempature is different then before but remember the cpu takes time to heat up so you wont get an accurate reading until the device was used more the 30 Mins of none stop use or normal usage.
