How to disable power on(vibration) sound

Hi, I just got my fly touch 2, it works fine, except tthe annoying sound when you first turn on, it makes vibration sounds which is kind of loud, how do I disable this sound? also after several use,now there's this green screen and then the flashing stars on the globe which never show up before.
Any info would be appreciated. thanks
