    Hello!

Is there any way of disabling snooze?
Normally when the alarm goes off I just slide it down and the alarm is completely dismissed.
But from time to time I use the Snooze button and then after a few minutes I get up out of my bed before the next alarm is activated. So how can I turn the snooze off?

    Regards,
    Stander

Don't hit the snooze button. I'm not sure what the situation/issue is.

    Thanks for the reply.
Sometimes you use the Snooze function because you are going to snooze for, say, 15 minutes - but you change your mind and you get up. You get up earlier - before the next snooze alarm rings. So the alarm will be activated in 15 minutes at an undesirable moment.

As far as I know the only way to do it is to go into the alarm app and untick the alarm...this will disable the snooze. Just remember to retick the alarm that night so you don't sleep in next morning ;)

I was a tad puzzled by this post at first, but now I understand. :)

You can't unfortunately, you just have to disable the alarm via the alarm settings.

    Thanks guys for your replies!
Indeed, seems the only way is to disable and reenable the alarm in the clock app.
IMHO there should be some easier and more intuitive method to somehow disable the snooze itself. But... as they say - nothing is perfect.

I use alarm clock xtreme, once you press snooze it has a notification which once pressed takes you to a clear active alarms option, which stops all snoozed alarms without the need to reactivate for the next day. I believe it is a paid for app, (think I got it during a limited reduced price) but there is a free (ad supported) version.

I often press snooze, then find I'm awake anyway and go to fetch my morning cup of tea, leaving my phone upstairs and waking up the whole house once the snooze goes off, so I know where you're coming from!

After several failures, I sat down and figured out how to reliably use the alarm.

The phone must be ON or ASLEEP, but not shut off, for the alarm to work. The alarm still works if you press the Power button to turn off the display or if you’re running other apps.

The alarm sounds for 1 minute, then automatically goes to snooze mode.

While ringing, there are two ways to “dismiss” the alarm, so it still goes off tomorrow.

1 Tap the Dismiss button, if on screen.
2 Press a physical side button, such as camera or volume, if this alarm clock option is set.

While ringing, don’t press Home! If pressed accidentally, the only way to dismiss the alarm is to:

    1 Unlock the phone.
    2 Swipe down notifications.
    3 Tap the alarm notification
    4 Tap Dismiss.

In snooze mode, you can see the next alarm time on the phone’s lock screen and the clock screen. Also, the snooze alarm appears in the notifications drop down screen.

In snooze mode, the only way to dismiss the alarm, before it goes off again, is to:

1 Swipe down the notifications screen (*).
    2 Tap the alarm notification.

(*) Note that sometimes the notifications screen won’t open. For example, if the clock app is running and you press the power button to turn off the screen. Here’s what to do:

1 Press the Home or Back button.
    2 Unlock the phone.
    3 Swipe down notifications.
