    Hi

I have just installed "Go SMS pro" which also allows me to encrypt a whole thread. But that encrypted thread can be easily viewable in HTC desire HD default MESSAGEs app. Is there any way to totally disable the default messages app?

    Thanks

No there isn't. The stock SMS app is actually still the one doing all the sending/receiving in the background when you use a third party app. If you were to disable it, you'd break your SMS capabilities.

You can get apps that password restrict other apps though, if that helps.

In fact, doesn't go sms allow you to password restrict other apps?
