    Hello there,
Today I started to explorer how to change color in the notification/statusbar. I've tried to follow the guides in here and other forums, but when I want to change color I get an error after typing

    java -Xmx512M -jar colorChangev3.jar theme.zip clock=FFFF9300 date=FFFF9300

I'm using colorchangev3.jar. In the guides they're all talking about some classes.dex inside the service.jar, but the only thing I can find is some MANIFEST-MF

I'm sorry if this is a repost, I couldn't find any solutions.. :(

    Is the phone rooted?

Yeah, it's rooted. I've done some work in the framework too, and it works fine. But the guides all says to pull out framework-res.apk and service.jar, next to use a zip program and find classes inside the service.jar . What are my doing wrong?

    Ha no idea mate?

I asked on here a while ago on how to change the android smileys and posted all the info from XDA but no luck.

    Head over to XDA :)

Well as a matter of fact, I can help you do the smiley thing :)

I've done some changes to my framework-res.apk, and it works like a charm! I just can't change the colour in the service.jar, because I can't find the classes.dex inside the service.jar like the guide says ( http://androidforums.com/all-things...notification-clock-pull-down-text-colors.html )

But PM me about the smiley thingy. :)

I've just tried to download an already finished services.jar, but now I can't push it (I have rooted my phone last week)

    it says :

    C:\SDK\tools>adb push services.jar /system/framework/
failed to copy 'services.jar' to '/system/framework//services.jar': Read-only fi
    le system

But I can easily push framework-res.apk - Can you help me here ?

Dam, I just checked out your link and your slide show, Man they need to hire you and put you in the UI center, that is some AWESOME stuff! So, I gotta ask, how long have you been programing, how long did it take you to do what you did to your phone? I cannot tell you how much I am impressed, just awesome! :D:D:D:D

Thanx for the positive comment.. although must say its all about modifying images. No programing required.. 2 b honest I barely know much about programing lol.. haha hire me.. im no way near that good! wish I was.. im chuffed considering its my first ever attempt at theming. Spent timeeee the first time learning things, but I pretty much did most by 2/3wks.. I think mediascape n timescape homescreen was my biggest delay but thanx to someone called calum I was able to modify it :)

Well, I'm still impressed, but if you ever put it on the market, please let me know, I'll be the first one to buy one. Or, you can always email me one for free if your not going to market it. I would be honored to have it on my X10!
