How to export downloaded emails with no access to mailbox

I have to change my S7 due to the damage.
I have business emails downloaded in the past into the Gmail app. I do not have access to that mail box cos I don't work there anymore. However, because emails already downloaded to the device I can read them.
Now tricky question: How to import those emails from the phone (in any format), so I can save that information?

Email is stored in protected and encrypted database in the system partition. I can't think of a way to access outside of the email client.

Curious if your previous employer is aware you want access to your old company emails? If so what about just asking them? If not and you know that they don't, is there a valid reason as to why you're attempting to subvert such a common company policy? Most businesses don't continue to allow ex-employees open access to company-related information.

Nope. Without root you can't get access to the database and without the encryption key even backing up the database wouldn't give you anything you could access. How broken is the S7?
