Help how to fix this (Won't turn on when plugged in/blinking LG sign)

i have an Spring lg Optomis S (not sure if i spelled that right) it won't turn on and when i plug it in all it does is show a blinking LG sign what can i do to fix this ?

Sounds like a bad battery..what was the last time you changed it?

Idk I got it from my cousin my brother used it for awhile and when I got it back an it wouldn't turn on just blink
