just bought my htc desire can anyone tell me how you forward an sms ive recievd to another person

My question is..... where would one find this answer apart from this forum?

If I'm trying to do something on the Desire & can't figure how I do three things:

1. press menu
2. short press the item
3. long press the item

one of them invariably holds the answer
