How do i go about getting a replacement for my Connect? It's been about two months since I bought it. And what bugs me is the fact that indoors i don't get 4G, only when i'm outside. While my wife's Connect gets a stable 4G connection inside or outside. How much will this replacement cost me? etc, etc...:(

Have you updated your prl? *228 option 5 roaming list? For a replacement you will need to unroot if rooted. Corporate store replaced mine for $32 on the spot or $10 and you wait a week. Btw current prl is 3030.

Send it to Samsung with an explanation of your issues and request a new handset as per the hardware warranty. Should be about 25/30 for shipping I believe.

Yes. I do have the latest PRL and so does my wife. So I guess i'll go to Corporate and pay $32 bucks. Hopefully it isn't MORE than $32 on the spot. And hopefully it's a good fudging phone this time >.>

I was bent too. Mine lasted 3 months then went crazy. For $32 you only get the phone. They will reuse your battery and door. Remember the phone they give you might be a refurbished one. Yes that sucks, but that's how they do it.

That is extremely disappointing. So basically, there is a strong chance that the phone i'll get, will have the same signal problem? Is a refurbished phone really that bad?

You have to go see. It could be new or refurbished. Mine I think was new because it was ZV8 and I had to update it. I'm not a fan of refurbished anything but a working phone is a good thing.

The box they has only a phone in it. They reuse your battery door and sim. The first phone was ZV8,ZV9 NOW ZVA. I just thought if it was a refurbished it would of been updated. But it wasn't so thought it was new. That's what I was thinking.

In the past year I have yet to read Metro gave someone a new sim. I'm not sure if they can. That is odd because AT&T will burn you a new sim just because you asked.

I asked and they said no , You would need to cancel your line and open up a new one with a new phone , Sadly I said this abit late but it is true , A replacement is $30 ussually and $10 if you wait a week for the shipping , or if yours is ROM'd then they make you pay about $100 from the MetroGUARD for a refurbished one (Happened to me , Turned on too long , Broken Digitizer , Clicks items like crazy , Possessed , Running Black Plague)
