I HATE using ADB. It is always a head ache on Win 7 (x64).

Could any one PLEASE help me get Win 7 64 to recognize my Desire Z.
I was planning on rooting it but after wasting an hour trying to update my adb drivers I gave up. And no I don't have a 32 bit system to try this on. :(

    Much thanks in advance!

First up, you can root the Z without resorting to ADB. See this thread.

Secondly, what error msg (if any) is displayed when you connect the handset and enter "adb devices" at the command prompt? This may help in diagnosing your issue.
