Root how to get market on my froyo NC

I just rooted my NC but don't know what android OS I rooted to. I used this youtube methode. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MUoHALWvPts
I have limited apps in the market and no flashplayer. Any help would appriciated.

I wasn't aware there was a 2.2 rom?? Where did you get the rom from? Link?
