So I've had my desire for probably a year now and decided to delete all the contacts in my phone (since there were 500+ contacts in there) and i really just need the 300 in my gmail contacts.
Now i can't figure out how to get the contacts from gmail to sync back to my phone.. smart huh?
if i go into Menu > Settings > Accounts & Sync > select my gmail account that i want to sync contacts with > Sync Now > I get a red exclaimation point next to Sync Contacts and a note down the bottom that says Sync is currently experiencing problems. It will be back up shortly.
Any ideas? If not i'm going to remove the account and readd it.. its the only other thing i can think of to do unless someone else can point me in the right direction?
