How to get my phone apps on the tablet

I have many apps on my phone (including non-free apps). I got a nexus 7 tablet, but when I configured it with my gmail account (same as the one on the phone) I didn't get the apps automatically installed.

Do I need to install each single app again?

Not only install, there are paid apps you may have to pay for again. (Some of them license you to use the app on one device only.)

I haven't run into that Rukbat. I plan on getting a tablet myself next year. Which apps hsve you found with that restriction?
