Root How To get the cursor ?

just wondering because sometimes when i text i want to go to a part in a word to delete a letter so wondering how do i get the cursor?

I think it might depend on the app you're using or the ROM itself. But try double tapping the area. It'll usually highlight orange, then just drag accordingly. But the actual cursor thingy is a feature of gingerbread (2.3)

I use swift key X and it has a setting to turn the arrow keys on or off. I was like you going absolutely nuts without my trackball (switched from the ascend) so I was very happy to find the arrow keys. Swift key is a paid application, some of the free keyboards may also provide this function, but I couldn't tell you which if any, I can say though that there are so many perks to swift key that it's well worth the price.
