i have rooted my motion 4g. then i find out verizon does not let you stream movies on a device that is rooted. so is there a work around to make it work? or how to unroot my phone. as much as i do not want to!! thanks
I have Verizon fios at home. And I stream movies from my account. And now they have redbox by Verizon. And it has something about the license. Won't let me stream movies on those apps.
Download root browser lite by JRummy, navigate to /data/app, find the FIOS app, long press it, press copy, swipe to the left, then press paste. That will move it to your internal SD Card. From there you can upload it from your phone or move it to your computer and upload it there. Do you have a Dropbox or other file host account?
Ok here is like to the apk's. And the reason they can not be streamed is due to copyright settings. Due to the device being rooted. http://db.tt/uCIwlmYb http://db.tt/DylOHGEz
check out the app Game Spector....it's on the market...it's a legit app...and it fixes issues like that, i do not use those apps but i do know that if you request a patch/fix for an app they try to respond asap
Try this I cant logon to test as i dont have an acount I have never done this before so went blindly in my attempt ti get you watchin vids https://www.dropbox.com/s/8gqt169ts95v0cy/verizon.apk
it did not work. thanks for trying!!! it still come up DMR Device registration failed. i might just go and unroot my phone if i can. thanks again for trying!!
Once you root your phone Run those apps Make a backup Send the backups to me Make sure you save Data Maybe i can figure it out for you I dont know about this exactly but its a challenge.
I wanted to see them in a working condition from your phone so maybe can make it work after you root. But i think the issue is in the odex file My phone wont open odex properly But i have a laptop now i can use Have a couple things to get installed
get Rootkeeper from the market and temp-unroot when you want to use the app. Thats what I do for Amazon video.
