What do I need to do to get on Yajku on LTE rather than mysid so verizon doesn't have to have the final say on my updates?

Unless I'm misunderstanding what the versions mean. I know they're both the ones controlled by google.

Yajku won't be compatible with the LTE version. Yajku is the GSM version and contains different radios.

Damn, so the only way to get 4.0.3 on LTE at the moment is to get an unofficial rom then?

At the moment. Most custom ROMs out now are built of off 4.0.3. If I'm not mistaken, even the GSM Nexus does not have 4.0.3 officially yet. Google released the source and pushed the update to the Nexus S only as of right now as far as I know.
