How to import contacts into gmail from captivate?

I have all my contacts set up in my captivate about how I want them. Is there any easy way to import them into my Gmail account? I just signed up for Gmail account when I got my phone. I have no contacts in my gmail account. I would like to have all my contacts synced with my Gmail account so they are backed up online.

Goto contact setting then import/export save to sdcard then open gmail goto contact import chose the file and location you save export file

Keep in-mind that contacts in your Google account will all be grouped in one single group called "Google". Groups that you set up in Gmail will not carry over to your phone, and you can't organize them into separate groups on the phone.

There's an app called Contact Group Manager that does recognize the groups you created in your Google account.
