This will work for T599 and T599N
They are basicly the same model.
Credits for this Go to KageBeast for The Odin file, and making the difference between the t599 and t599n fixed.

    Programs Needed
(Google these programs, as I do not supply links, in case of corruption of files, I am not responsible.)

    Odin 3.0.4
    Drivers for SGH-T599

    ------------------------------
    Files Needed
(I will Supply These, but if they break, make a post telling me)

    -------------------------
    Steps

1)Root your Phone (Something Called Google?)
2)Put phone in download mode (Turn off phone, hold VOL DOWN, HOME, POWER)
    3)Plug in the USB Cable
4)Boot up Odin, It should say "<ID:0/[Your ID]> Added!!" (Thanks Kagebeast for info)
If not, retry, or use a different USB cable
    5) Click PDA, and select the file you downloaded
    6) Click start, it should begin to write to the NAND
    7) Done!

    ---------------------------
Now the phone should boot normally into Android OS.
If not, retry the steps after pulling the battery for 5 minutes

Turn off the phone, Hold VOL UP, HOME, POWER, for Recovery. Happy Rom Flashing!!

Just a little thing you should change. The ID won't be the same for everyone.

Couldn't you just flash a recovery with Odin, then root by flashing SuperSU or a custom ROM? Lol I know I'm late to the party it looks like this forum has been dead for a while.

Edit: Also, it doesn't say anywhere which recovery this is. Is it CWM, TWRP, PHILZ, OUDHS?

That's the point of this thread?? To flash a custom recovery through odin then either root or flash a custom rom after. Also this is cwm.

OK thanks. And I was trying to point out the fact that you don't need root to flash a recovery with Odin. Apparently you already know this but it doesn't seem like the OP does as it says to root before flashing cwm with Odin.
Anyway, thanks for clarifying which recovery this is.

I made this tutorial since this tutorial I don't like tbh, but the one I made doesn't need a PC so that's good.

ipodnite00, we've had a bit of an issue with duplicate posts recently...our Admin folks are aware and looking into the issue.

Thanks for your patience (and I took care of the dupes for you :)).

    Cheers!
