I am wanting to save a few text messages on my Droid 2 but I can't find the option to save them. Like on the Droid 1 you can just long tap the message and lock it. I really need to lock these messages and would appreciate any help.
If its impossible to lock text is there an app I can use?
    Thanks

I hate that the D2 doesn't have the option to lock messages either.

What I do is Long Tap on the Message I want to Save and then Forward it to Myself.

My son told me to put my finger on the message I want to save or delete and it will give me options. It works great! I can save or delete certain messages and not have to ssave the whole conversation.

That definitely does not work on the Droid 2. The only options you get when you hold your finger on the message is OPEN MESSAGE, FORWARD MESSAGE, COPY MESSAGE TEXT, VIEW MESSAGE DETAILS, and DELETE MESSAGE.
