I want to flash mikg3. 0 but have had problems in the past backing up and restoring my apps and data. I partioned my sd card but would like to know how to move the apps to the card or are they already there? How can I tell they are on the sd card? Then is there anything special i need to do with titanium backup once I have the apps on the card?

mikg has a2sd built in i believe so they should automatically move to the card. you can use titanium backup (tb) and on the main page you should see your rom space, internal, sd card, and a2sd. it will show you how much you have avialable. you can always get terminal emulator and run it. in te type su then hit enter after that type a2sd reinstall this will then move any and all apps to the sd card.

now since you are partitioned make sure that when you flash a rom that you wipe sd ext. and the same goes for when you make a nandroid backup, make sure that you backup sd ext as well.

as far as tb goes just make sure that you do not restore system data. other then that nothing will be different with tb.

I see that the apps are on the sd card on the first screen of TB. Mikg rom does move them automatically. I didn't know what to look for. Thx.

Does TB backup the apps that are on the sd card? and then restore them back?

Does flashing a new rom wipe the sd card?

yes sort of. with a2sd it tricks the phone into thiking that the apps are on the phone so apps like tb will do its normal thing. a2sd is the one that moves the apps to the card. as soon as you restore your apps with tb, they will automatically be moved over. and so yes tb will back them up as usual.

and no flashing a rom will not wipe the sd card. you will have to that manually in recovery.
