Is there any specific reason you would like to do this as opposed to clicking the file and opening it with MX Player or going into MX and opening the m3u file?

Unfortunately I don't think there is a way to open an application from the terminal and if there was the application would probably have to accept parameters being passed to it, which I don't think it would or the application would support via a menu or something.

The reason is "file manager" does not gives me the option to open it in "MX Player"
and the "MX Player" does not support "file browsing"(to go to" /mnt/sdcard/my/" and select "puls.m3u")

I'm not sure MX Player supports M3U files then. I believe File Manager would give you an option to open it with MX Player if it supported the file type.

It wont' play it. The stream isn't supported by MX, or the onboard player.

am not sure how did you guessed I had link for streaming in the m3u file

but mxplayer has the field where you can put the streaming link and it plays whether it is audio or video with no problem at all

You listed the puls file in the OP. Visited their site and noticed there was no Android support per the website. I tried it anyway with MX and the native player to no avail.

    Oh my apologies.

It just seems to me that the playlist file just contains that stream link that I posted above. By opening that stream you are in fact opening most of the playlist file.

What should the difference be between the playlist and the stream?
