hi this is my first post

I just dl'd some digital copies of Inception and Star Trek from my Blu-ray discs to my laptop but I put them in my movie folder and tried to play them on Rock player but they didnt play. I have the bundled MicroSD card at 8GB, but its only class 4 or 6

Do I need a Class 10 SDHC to play these files? Or a different media player?

they weren't big files and the res was only 320 by 180 I think

Connect your device in "Disk Drive" mode
You can just create a folder on the SD card and copy your movies into there...
Ensure that the file .nomedia is not in there. That file stops the media search in that folder just so you know....

I have tested the following video formats:
WMA - Plays Build-In Player
AVI - Plays Build-In Player
MKV - Use Vplayer
ASF - Use Vplayer
FLV - Use Vplayer

The converter i use was free called Any Video Converter from
Free Video Converter - Any Video Converter Free Version - convert video to any formats, avi to MPEG, avi to MP4, flv to MPG

I found best to associate video files with vplayer, using "ES File Explorer" to navigate to the folder holding the various video titles and just pressing on it to play.
