How to prevent new HTC Sense install on my phone?

I SOOOOO don't want the new HTC Sense update on my phone, it's incredibly phugly for starters, plus it doesn't add any functionality, only screws up all my settings!! I DO NOT WANT TO UPDATE, how can I prevent it from auto-updating?? Running an HTC Droid DNA on Verizon
