I've got an 11 month old Desire (G7) which I've rooted and been using with MIUI. I need to send the phone back to Three because the loudspeaker has stopped working. I've put the original Three firmware/ROM on but how to I uninstall ClockWorkMod and other signs of rooting so they don't back out of warranty claims?

Thanks, I've flashed a Three UK RUU but when powering up with Vol- it still goes into recovery. I thought loading an RRU was supposed to get rid of all traces?

I thought so, too, but I guess not always, as you've found.

I'm not familiar with all HTC (I have 3 US ones, bootloaders all different, of course) but I think sometimes you can also fastboot flash the stock bootloader. I pal around here on the forums with the rom dev that wrote that guide - drop him a PM, I know he'll shoot you straight. (I noticed some bootloader actions in that post, but didn't follow them closely.) In other words, I'm good for general info and help getting to experts. :)

Also - your phone always includes a recovery, so I'm assuming that you are meaning you're still finding your custom recovery.

Ahh, thanks for that. I didn't know the recovery is a standard feature. Off to the shop tomorrow morning then! Thanks for pointing it out.
