How to remove or detach app from playstore?

Titanium Backup can detach an app from the store but it's not permanent, it will show up again after a day or so or with a restart. I don't think it's possible to do this so it sticks.

You can achieve this by changing the app signature. Theme developers do this so that the app doesn't update from the play store therefore not removing their theme. If you're on linux I can assist.

Note, there's nothing nefarious about changing the app signature. It simply just detaches it from the play store.

Yep, I'm sure the Play Store would see it as a custom app and just move-along / ignore it...
