Support how to reset the boot animation

    I have installed Dark's rom and its changed the boot animation to a dary one whihc I really don't like. Is there any way to change this back to the proper SGS one?

    Replace /System/Media/bootanimation.zip with stock one

    Except there's no stock bootanimation.zip. The stock boot animation was in qmg format, which doesn't work on a custom kernel.

    OP, just go find a bootanimation you like and replace it.

    Thanks for the suggestions guys. How do I go about changing it then and where do you find a boot animation?

    On Darky's forum there's a bunch of bootanimations available.

    I installed mine through CWM (install zip from sdcard).

    You can get one from here and flash it with CWM
