Help How to retrieve images & videos from Android .thumbdata3-1763508120 file?

Hello!

I am using Panasonic T-21 and while copying some of the images from "DCIM" folder in "External memory", suddenly few images & videos got merged into one single file with name as ".thumbdata3-1763508120".
Since then I am trying to retrieve all my images & videos that I lost in the .thumbdata3 file but I am not successful yet.
Can somebody help in explaining how can I retrieve my images & videos from that file.

These are only likely to be thumbnails and a quick search suggests they are irretrievable, however, take a look in LOST.DIR folder
