couple of slight problems :- force closes when i go to settings - sounds (and now as of 26/7) text messages. also i cant disable the moving backgrounds(that may be me not finding the right setting in settings)

Hello. Ave followed the guide and ended up with the stock Android rom on my HTC Desire. I definitely download and installed the Sense rom! Any ideas...help!

uninstall HTC Sync on nwin7 but leave installer>> reboot and try again works

Titanium says not rooted or needs BusyBox - aaarrgh

Click on the problems box at the bottom of the screen and it will download busybox for you

OK all sorted. Thanks for a great and easy to follow guide. One small thin I noticed in the camera app is that when you rotate the phone, the symbols onthe right rotate with it. Also, I'm pretty sure that in 2.1 you could only rotate to landscape in one direction and in 2.2 you can rotate any way you like. Nice!

That is a stock Android ROM. It doesn't have Sense. If you want it, just apply it the same way you applied the one you are currently on.

My Desire is currently running 1.21.405.2, unbranded from 3, but there are now 3 branded Desires out there running 1.22.771.1.

OK, total noob question here but I am in desperate need of help... I rooted my US Cellular HTC Desire sucessfully - [GUIDE] One Click How to Root the GSM & CDMA Desire with Unrevoked 3.21 - xda-developers , loaded the two zip files on my sd card and loaded the radio and the froyo 2.2 rom as stated, ran both, but when I rebooted it went to a white screen with green htc letters and has been there for about fifteen or twenty minutes and show no signs of moving. Did I do sumthin incorrect, is there a way to completely start the loading of my radio and rom update over or did i brick my phone? I have been at this for 6 hours now and cannot get my phone to respond.

What Zip files? You did choose a CDMA specific rom and radio didn't you?

Yes, that is what the description on the zip file stated. I will see if I can find the download link again. Anyone have any CDMA 2.2 Rom and radio that I can try? Also is there now anything I need to do to my phone since I'v tried two different zips or will it "format" my phone when I try to load the next rom?
