Root How to root previously rooted X2?

I had root but I accepted the last OTA update and was unrooted. I am having trouble using the one click root method. It goes through the whole process but then when I try to use TI-backup or Busybox installer it says I don't have root? Anyone experience this before? Is there a way to get around this without losing my data?

Typically the reasons why this would not work is that one of the steps is not followed to the tee. Try this method here:

Make sure you install proper drivers and that the phone is set in debug mode accordingly.
