Anyone figured out how to do this on the X? There aren't many options in settings at all. I might have to jump back to K9 Mail.

But when I go into my gallery it is there...

What kind of file are you trying to save???

Have you tried long pressing the message itself before you open it?

    Success!

I just tried long pressing the attachment, prior to opening, and it saved it to my SD card as expected.

    Thanks for the guidance.

I was trying to save a pdf. The only way I could figure it out was to use the browser. I can't find anything by long pressing.

How big was the pdf? Mine is 162kb and I can't do anything. You're in the native Gmail app right?

Just sent a test pdf to myself and I still can't do anything with it.

The only way that I am aware of is the save a bookmark for your Gmail account and use the browser. You can download it from the mail online.
