I'm having this galaxy s plus where the battery life was drained so fast even without using it! Already update my firmware to 2.3.3 but still same.

    cell standby: 41%
    phone idle: 35%
    wifi: 16%
    display: 8%

just wondering why is it the phone idle and cell standby using so much percentage of battery? Helllppp...i'm newbie here!! :(

    Welcome to AF :)

That's a pretty normal listing of what should be using the battery. It sounds like the place you keep your phone may have a weak cell signal, so the phone is trying to compensate by sending more power to the radio.

Turning off WiFi when you don't need it will help some, but you may also want to look at the app called "Tasker" (costs about $5) . It's pretty advanced but you seem the type that can handle that :)

Anyways welcome again to AF :)
