    Hi everyone, does anyone know:
    How to group notifications for apps such as Twitter or News Republic? I have a small icon that indicates the notification for every single one of them;
    I was also wondering if it's possible to "dismiss" the notification if I open the app, I shall make an example, I have 10 group notifications from a group in whatsapp and then 1 private notification, I tap on the notification and it opens whatsapp but I only check the private one, once I receive another notification the group I didn't read before will show up again, is there any way to count the group as "read" so that I'll only receive the new one?
    Thanks a ton!

    swipe the notification to the left or right to dismiss it.

    That's not what I meant, I apologise if I didn't explain properly. For instance, I just want to see 1 twitter icon in the status bar that tells me that I have twitter notifications, then if I swipe down I can also see 10-20 or whatever, but just the one icon on the status bar.

    I want it to work like whatsapp, even if I have 100000 unread messages it'll only show 1 single icon on the status bar

    You can't the app itself has to support that. If the guys at twitter didn't give you that option, then the only thing you can do is look for an alternative app that stacks notifications. AFAIK this isn't something you can do with any setting or feature on the phone.

    I see, and do you know if it's possible to do what I was wondering in the second part of the question? To be able to dismiss all notifications for a certain app after opening it? Thanks a lot for help

    I just simply Turn OFF all notifications period.
    who needs them?

    if you have the phone in your hands, you just open the app to see what is going on...
    I hate notifications like the plague.

    Is there a specific app guilty of not clearing notifications after seeing what the notification is about? I haven't encountered this. There are certain situations where this maybe expected, like receiving multiple messages but opening only one thread, but other than that I haven't experienced it. So apart from dismissing them one by one, no idea.
