How to stop a factory reset?

I accidentally hit my LG G3's lock screen incorrect too many times and now it's began to factory reset. I have been able to pull the batter before the reset begins each time (I know this incredibly bad for the phone and can lead to bricking very fast), but I have some data on the internal memory on the phone that I would like to get back. There is about 20 seconds from when I boot the phone up to when it gives me the message "Factory reset preceded by the server" and begins to factory reset. I've looked all over and I am trying to figure out a way to disable the factory reset or get the data off without the factory reset. Is there any way to do this?

Pulling the battery won't hurt the OS, it is in RAM.
You can loose data, but who cares at this point.

If the FDR has already started, I don't think you are going to be able to avoid it.
There is a Safe Mode usually, do the 3 finger startup and see if you can find that on the menu.
    then backup everything you can.

Sadly, the FDR is still running in Safe Mode. Is there a debug mode that would pause the FDR until I'm out of it?

not that I am aware of, I think you are going to have to face the music.
