Help How to test current at which my phone is charging

Hello folks,

Just got Anker 5-port USB charger. It has claimed 2.1A and 1A ports. I wanted to check if they offer exactly those currents so that I am sure with the port I am using. I installed Ampere app to test the charging. First with a Chinese ebay cable I got 460mA in all ports (i.e. 2.1A as well as 1A ports). With the Samsung OEM cable (that came with my phone), I got 1600mA in all ports. I am not too sure when the ports are rated at different Amperage.

Since I used both the cables on all ports, there is clearly a cable difference but I am confused why its showing me same amperage in all. Is the charger messed up or my methodology of testing is incorrect.

Anyone knows how to check this?

Thanks in advance.
