Ok lets get this started. This is the steps that I took to theme my m835's Stock rom.
USE AT YOUR OWN RISK. I am not responsible if you brick your phone. But with ultrajack installed recovering is easy.
Note: I take no credit for the threads and guides i am linking.

First:
You need to root your device using the wonderful guide here. (Credit to Sebuo)
Second:
You need to install ultrajack using this guide here. (Credit to CyberTails)
Once ultrajaack is installed, I HIGHLY recommend doing a nand backup in case you accidentally brick your phone doing the following steps.
Third:
You Must Remove Some of the Metro bloat using this thread here and here to make enough space to deodex and still have room for apps.
Do the above steps to remove bloat BEFORE doing the steps that follow.
1.Connect your phone to your pc in usb mode.
2.Copy This file to your sdcard.
3.Power off your phone.
4.Boot in to recovery by holding the Green button + Volume Rocker up and then the power button.
5. In ultrajack navigate to update from zip.
6. Select choose update zip from sdcard.
7. Select m835DeodexUpdate.zip and confirm.
8. When update is applied navigate back to ultrajacks main menu using the volume down button and select reboot. (WARNING, it will take a LONG time to reboot while it updates the new files, aka 5+ mins to 10mins)
YOU ARE NOW READY TO APPLY THEMES.
I built my themes manually using UOT's Online kitchen, adding files of my own to the framework-res.apk, and ripping out the files from UOT's Online Kitchen's output in to my own update.zip format. WARNING...DO NOT APPLY UPDATE.ZIPS FROM UOT'S ONLINE KITCHEN TO YOUR PHONE DIRECTLY WITH OUT MODIFYING!!! It will screw up your phone. You will have to extract the system/framework folder from the uot theme download and make it in to your update.zip format following this guide. Using ultrajack to apply these updates means you can skip the signing part of the guide.
Fourth: (Optional Black Status bar w/ white clock and notifications)
1.Connect your phone to your pc in usb mode.
2.Copy This file to your sdcard.
3.Power off your phone.
4.Boot in to recovery by holding the Green button + Volume Rocker up and then the power button.
5. In ultrajack navigate to update from zip.
6. Select choose update zip from sdcard.
7. Select m835BlackStatusBar.zip and confirm.
8. When update is applied navigate back to ultrajacks main menu using the volume down button and select reboot. (WARNING, it will take a LONG time to reboot while it updates the new files, aka 5+ mins to 10mins)
BOOM you now have a black status bar with white clock.
I will try and make a more detailed guide on how I theme as soon as i can but for now this will get some the most common thing they want. That dang black status bar!!!.
